„The Starry Squadron” tells a story of Polish-American military cooperation, friendship and common ideas based on the adventures of Merian Caldwell Cooper. Through his extraordinary fate, we want to bring the international community closer to the elements of the Polish fight for freedom, with particular emphasis on the activities of the Polish 7th Air Escadrille, better known as Kościuszko Squadron. Before you, a short, almost Hollywood story of M. C. Cooper, an American filmmaker, director and screenwriter, but above all a brigadier general of the United States Army and a lieutenant colonel in the Polish Army, who served in the Polish Air Force in the years 1919–1920 during the Polish-Soviet war. We hope it will inspire you to explore the Polish history further.
